MMEA Privacy Statement
MMEA collects contact information of children participating in MMEA activities. No third party is collecting or has access to this data. For registration and confirmation purposes, MMEA collects directly from the student, parent, guardian, or teacher that following: student name, address, email address, and phone number; school name, school address, school phone number, and school teacher; parent/guardian name, address, email, and phone number.
All direct communications are held with the music school teacher.
The information is used to make notification of acceptance, confirmation of participation, and details regarding the activity or event. MMEA does not disclose the information to a third party.
Parents or Guardians Rights
Personal information collected can be verified by a parent or guardian at any time. An alternative method to submit the required information will also be provided.
MMEA will not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in MMEA activities or events. You can can review your child’s personal information, direct MMEA to delete it, and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the child’s information. Parents and Guardians can agree to the collection and use of their child’s information, and still not allow disclosure to third parties unless it is a component of the service or activity MMEA provides.
